I found this basket for the toilet at Goodwill for $1. It wasn't quite what I wanted for my bathroom, but I figured I could paint it since it had the light wicker look to it. In actuality, I didn't have any chocolate brown spray paint, but I did have a gallon of wall paint on hand. Voila! It warmed the basket up! Isn't it cute?Oh, and what to do with the rest of the bathroom? I'm not sure why, but I went country with everything for years. Maybe because I liked what my Mom had in her house - but now I'm overwelmed with getting rid of it. One of the first things that I did when we moved into our new home was put up this outhouse border. I've been thinking about removing it and changing everything, but I don't want to do this before I have the replacement pictures and bathroom accessaries.
If you have any ideas (besides ripping off the border), please let me know. This is really my only wall. I have one next to the shower that is about a foot wide and no towel hangers in the bathroom! (What were the builders thinking? No wall space in the bathroom for a towel bar!)

Hi! I love your little basket and how you've used in in your bathroom. I'm with you about the border. We just took off a border in our bedroom and it wasn't going to come off! Now if decide to take off your border and it won't budge, this will get it off for you - one capful of liquid fabric softener to a quart of hot water. Put it in a spray bottle. Spray it on the border, a little piece at a time, and wait about ten minutes and it peels right off!

lol, I posted a bathroom re-do, too! Maybe you could add robe hooks on your short wall, or a towel ring, I like to use things in a new, repurposed way, that fits my needs... I still like country, but my country tastes just keep evolving and I like that about it! Lezlee
