Walgreen's Deals - April 12 - 18, 2009

I know I haven't reported a whole lot on Walgreens lately, but so many other sites are dedicated to telling you the deals there, that I thought I would focus my efforts on Piggly Wiggly and other things here in Sparta, WI. Well, this week I couldn't resist, because I did such a great job on them. Above you can see all I got, minus 2 sodas and a play bow & arrow (I took my 4 year old with me this time, and to pacify him, I got him a toy, after he was good the entire trip! I know, bribery, but I had made him endure several other errands that weren't as interesting as Walgreens!) Here are each of my transactions:

  • Fiber Choice Fruit - $2.49
  • Colgate Max Toothbrush - $2.99

Free Family Fun for April 4th & 5th!

I just wanted to point out that there are some great Free things going on in our area today. Go to http://www.moneysavingmom.com/ website to read more about it. I happen to need to go to LaCrosse for an archery shoot anyway, so I think I'll make a day of it, so the little kids get to do something too! Don't forget to take a picnic lunch you if you need to be there longer. Here's the link to read about it:http://www.moneysavingmom.com/money_saving_mom/2009/04/free-family-funsaturday-april-4-2009.html

Also, if you'd like to take your kids to a FREE puppet show, our church has the Thorp Puppet Team in for services on Sunday. This is a wonderful Christian puppet show that uses black lights, music and full adult size glow in the dark puppets to illustrate simple Christian concepts to the kids. The service times are on Sunday, April 6, 10am & 6pm. Come visit us at the Apostolic Life Church on Hwy 35 between Onalaska and Holmen. (just down from the Midway exit). If you need further information or directions, please call Pastor Mark at 608-317-5059.
