Walgreens Photo Center - 25 Free

Just a reminder to watch one of my recommended sites: www.commonsensewithmoney.com or www.moneysavingmom.com for specials at Walgreens. I don't want to reinvent the wheel that they already are doing, so wills stick to things in Sparta that are good deals, except those that they cover. I did want to remind you that this week, they have a special through Saturday for 25 FREE 4x6 prints when you buy 25. Use the code BUY25GET25 on their website: www.walgreens.com to cash in on this great deal. I am going to see if it allows you to use it on two different orders. I'm not sure about this, but it seems like you should be able to do it.

  • Hidden Valley Ranch Salad Dressing - $2.69 - $1 MC (in-store Coke coupons) = $1.69

My meal ideas from this list:

  • Tortilla Rolls (Turkey, Ranch dressing, lettuce, tomatoes from garden rolled up in tortillas)
  • BBQ Chicken Legs in Slow Cooker with Suddenly Salad
  • Grapes with yogurt on top
  • The rest are stock up items. Some of the pre-packaged items are a little steep for our usual fare, but we still have a couple of Airstream camping weekends to go, so these items work well for that: Fruit bowls, pudding snacks, suddenly salad, brownie mix. You may decide not to splurge on these items, but for us it is a savings not to have to go out to eat when we vacation!

Please don't let summer end!

I was actually reading an article the other day about moms who count the days down until school starts to send the kids back to school! I can't believe that people can't wait to get rid of the children that they gave birth to! I am loving every moment with my kids and although I am also anxious to get started with our homeschooling in the fall, I am really enjoying the "fun" time with my kids! Hope you are all getting plenty of savings in, even though it is summer. I feel so blessed that we are able to do our family get-aways on a budget and cook for ourselves in our Airstream. (See my other blog for those updates! htttp://airstreammemories.blogspot.com)

Anyway, I thought I would get some of the deals back up for Piggly Wiggly for the next week of August 12-18! These are just my suggestions.
